Hi I'm Kevin

My wife married me because I'm a good cook, I don't cook very much anymore. I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I love watching my two little girls giggle, going out on dates and sharing quality time with my wife, the freedom of the open road on my motorcycle, anything outdoors (camping, sports, running, yardwork...), and finding ways to serve others. l graduated with a degree in Zoology from Michigan State University, I bleed Green and White, and I am blessed to be serving my country as an officer in the US armed forces.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a church-going family of another faith, went to that church's elementary and junior high schools, was an alter boy, attended church camp, and had parents who are/were active in that church. Yet, with all of that activity, I never felt a connection to my Heavenly Father. But, the first time I attended an LDS conference and talked to people I met who were members, I couldn't help but feel in my heart that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are true. If you don't believe me, don't take my word for it, just pick up a Book of Mormon and ask Heavenly Father yourself if it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time. As a convert to Christ's true church, there are many changes I have had to make in order to maintain my worthiness. I have been blessed beyond what I can comprehend, but that doesn't mean that it is easy. So, I start each day by humbly asking for the guidance, wisdom and strength that I need to live as Jesus lived, and I end each day by humbly thanking Him for the challenges and forgiveness necessary to overcome where I have faltered.
