Hi I'm Whitny Dawn

I'm a cosmetologists, Wife, Homemaker, Sister and Daughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of three kids. I have two younger brothers. One is currently serving a full time mission. I have recently moved to Forest Lake with my sweet husband and our lil dog. I'm a Cosmetologist and love everything there is to with hair and make up and being a girl. I also love this job because it makes others feel so good. I'm a homemaker and love my family. although I am a girly girl, camping, boating, four wheeling, wake surfing, snowboarding are a few of my loves as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon first of all, because my parents are. I have grown up in the church my whole life. But my true conversion happened when my testimony of my faith was put through a test. At a young age I went through some heart ache of my fist marriage failing. This was one of the hardest things I have had to face so far. But when you are going through such things in your life you need someone to help pull you through, and that for me was my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. They are real and know who you are. Your needs, and your fears, and your personal struggles. I can honestly say that the knowledge that I grew up with being in the church, know that I was a daughter of God and he loves me is what got me through my hard times. This gospel helps you know who you are, your purpose hear on earth. Fills you with love and meaning in your life. And can give you a family that is not only together in this life but for eternity. I love this Gospel and all that it has given me. I know it is true without a doubt.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. Which includes all of my church meetings. I pay a full and honest tithe. I keep my standards, and dress modestly. I pray morning and night to my Father in Heaven to thank him for the things he gives me and to ask for guidance. And I read my scriptures daily.
