Hi I'm Rosanne

I am from Northern Califonia. I am a wife and a mother. I am also an American Sign Language Interpreter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my sweet, eternal companion 10 years ago in the Oakland Temple and we now have 3 beautiful and loving children. I served a full-time mission in the NYNY North Mission and besides my marriage and my children it was the best thing I have ever done. I make my own schedule as a freelance American Sign Language Interpreter and love it. I love scrapbooking, playing games, sports (watching and playing) and above all else, my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church my entire life. What I love about being a Mormon is that we are all encouraged to find our own testimonies, to be converted for ourselves. Before I went on a mission I made sure that I knew that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true and that the principles I have been taught my whole life were indeed right. I studied the Book of Mormon, I prayed and I asked God for myself if the things that I have been taught, read and studied were true. I knew that in order to be a representative for my Savior I had to know the truth so I could preach the truth. I can say this, that I know without an ounce of doubt, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's living church on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and was written by ancient prophets who were led and inspired by God to help us in our day. I find peace in knowing that my family is sealed for time and all eternity. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon by choice not just tradition.

How I live my faith

I am actively involved in my children's education. I volunteer at their school. I serve on the Parent-Teacher Association board as well as the School Site Counsel board. I have served in many different auxillaries at church. Most recently I served with the young women and loved every minute of it. It is amazing to see such wonderful teenagers who are making great choices in their lives even amid all the pressures of the world. I have seen the benefits and blessings of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the lives of these youth. I love going to church each week and particpating in the fellowshipping that goes on there. I get spiritually renewed when I listen to the speakers and partake of the Sacrament. I feel energized to take on another busy week. Some think that going to 3 hours of church every week is a sacrifice, but I find it a blessing that brings me closer to my Heavenly Father. Above all other responsibilities I have in my life, being a wife and a mother is by far my greatest. Although I will be the first to admit that I am not perfect, I love my husband and my children more than anything. I am so thankful that I have the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help me lead and guide my children in righteousness.
