Hi I'm Cassie Davie

I'm from Rigby, Idaho the creator of the TV and home of the best potatoes, I love football, I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary in the Georgia, Atalanta North mission and oh man I just love it! Being a missionary is a one of a kind roller coaster ride. I grew up in Rigby, Idaho and spent the last eighteen months of my life going to school at Utah State. I love Logan and for sure miss the mountains. I love football, pretty much everything about it. Colts forever. I played softball and was studying to be a radiologist. It'll probably change a couple more time before I'm through. I love my family and am so grateful to be a part of this Church!

Why I am a Mormon

I started out a Mormon because I was lucky enough to be born into the covenant. But as I have gotten older I have learned how to have mine own testimony of the fullness of the gospel. Through faith and personal prayer i have learned for myself that this is the true Church and that the principles of this Church are true. I know that Joseph Smith restored the fullness of the Gospel to this Earth and that our Heavenly Father, and his Son Jesus Christ love us. All of us, Mormon or not. My dad was converted to the Church when I was eight years old and I was able to be sealed to my family in the Logan Temple. The spirit I felt both at his baptism and my family's sealing was indescribable and undeniable. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and has developed the Plan of Salvation so we can return to Him and so we may be families for eternity. Because of my father's experience I would like to serve a mission next year when I turn 21. I love this Gospel and can think of nothing better than sharing the message with people. I will forever be grateful for the Sister Missionaries who didn't give up on my dad. I want to be able to do that same thing for a family. Part of the reason I know this Church is true is it is a doctrine full of love. We learn all about the love that our Heavenly Father and brother, Jesus have for us. They have given up so much so we can return to them to live for eternity and so we can be with out families forever. It is a happy gospel a gospel of hope. No matter what we do or how far we may stray there is always a way for us to return. That is the greatest gift, to know that we can always come back, no matter what we do He loves us, and he always will.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is definetly a testimony builder going out and sharing the gospel with people everday. It does occasionally get hot and rainy down in Georgia, but I can't think of anything else I would rather be doing. I love sharing the gospel with others and there is nothing like watching someone you have come to love see the blessings of this gospel in their own lives. I have had the priviledge of seeing people join the church and enter the waters of baptism. It truly is an amazing experience! This gospel blesses lives. It changes people and helps them find a peace and a joy that they can't get anywhere else. I love this gospel and I'm so excited for the next year of my mission.
