Hi I'm Clarence Clowers

I grew up in the foothills of Tennessee. My family is faithful believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am a father of 4 wonderful children and 8 beautiful grandchildren. I have been married to the woman of my dreams for 33 years and enjoy times with family. We have been blessed in many ways as a family and enjoy our time together in this busy world. I enjoy the outdoors and activities such as horseback riding, gardening, fishing, watching a good bird dog. Work is enjoyable and challenging and I also like being helpful and serving others. Deep down I'm a farm boy who enjoys the simple things in life, while seeking a sense of adventure to see and explore places and adventures not yet experienced.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a deciple of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was established after the order of the church Jesus Christ set up when he was upon the earth. He has re-established his church once again with all it's glory to bless the lives of everyone on this earth. I was a member of another church prior to joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After studying The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teachings I realized that it provided me a more comprehensive understanding of the doctrines of Christ. Therefore, I could get closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ by learning it's teachings. Over the years I continue to grow and learn more each year about Christ and God's love for each of us and how that living and being obedient to his commandments help me to become a better disciple of Christ. My ultimate goal is to someday with my family join Christ and enjoy the fullness of the blessings of being in the presence of God for eternity.

How I live my faith

I go to church each week and try to be of service to the members in our branch and community. I strive to be a good example of Christ-like behaviors and follow his examples. Falling short is part of life and I work at being humble, repenting and enduring the pain of inadequacy while pressing forward with a determination to keep doing my best each day.
