Hi I'm Stacey

I grew up and went to school in California. I'm a wife, mother, and an elementary school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional educator. I love teaching and working with children. I taught elementary school until my second child was born, then I wanted to stay home with my own children. I founded a private preschool and was able to continue teaching, at home, while I taught my boys. Although my children are almost all grown up, I continue to teach.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by my mother in the Mormon faith. I went to church and seminary and my testimony of the gospel grew as I did. As a teenager I had a stong faith in Jesus Christ and I learned at an early age that my Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers. Throughout my life I have felt His spirit and it has given me peace in uncertain times. I know that no matter what is going on around me, I am a child of God and he knows and loves me. This gives me great comfort. When it came time to marry, I knew that I wanted to be sealed to my husband, not only for time, but for eternity. I wanted to have an eternal family. As a parent, the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me to raise my children. The pathway is so clear! I have the scriptures, the teachings of latter day prophets, and all of the wonderful church programs to help me. My children have youth leaders to look up to and a ward full of good examples. I am many years away from my childhood now, but I still know without a doubt, that my redeemer lives and that he suffered for me so I could return, with my family, to live with my Heavenly Father again. I am so thankful for His sacrifice and I try to live my life in such a way as to exemplify His life and His teachings.

How I live my faith

More than anything else I try to live a Christ-like and Christ centered life. I want to share with others the peace and Joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought to me. I teach the women at church and enjoy their friendship and the many opportunities I have to serve others. I enjoy participating in the Mormon Helping Hands projects and I find great joy in serving.
