Hi I'm Lynn Samuelson

I am 50 plus years old and I'm a Mormon. I just started writing this, so it may take me a few days to finish my information.

About Me

By day I am a CPA, but I am fixing to prepare to start to planning to retire. If you are my age you know what I mean. I want to have time to travel and to do as much genealogy and Temple work as I can with the rest of my life. I have been a Rotarian for 20 years and it prepared me to be a member of this Church because 'Service above Self' is the "Pure Love of Christ". When you help other people you are serving the Lord. It makes other peoples lives better and makes you know you can do more.

Why I am a Mormon

I spent most of my adult life as a Methodist, but I always felt there something more. For years I drove by the Morman church in Myrtle Beach and always felt drawn to it and wondered why. Now I know it was the Spirit of the Holy Ghost whispering to me. I now recognize the Spirit when it prompts me, and my life is blessed by it.

How I live my faith

My husband and I go to church every Sunday, we have a great time together. I taught Sunday school to 10 and 11 year old girls for 4 years and now they are young women. I love all of them dearly and I am so proud of them. They are such fine young ladies with wonderful moral values and great faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. I work in the Family History Center which is just what I love. I was a family genealogist for about 10 years before I joined the church and now I know why it was so important for me to learn about my ancestors.
