Hi I'm Shipley Taylor

I love my family. I love my cereal. I'm serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and then me and my Taylor crew moved to the beautiful mountains in Utah to be closer to family. I'm the oldest of 6 crazy kiddles and I love being a big sister. After high school I went to Utah Valley University for a year, majoring in photography, and loved it so much! Taking pictures is my favorite thing. I'm a huge Disney freak. I love listening to music. I love sunsets. I love playing soccer. I love eating cereal. And I'm currently serving as a missionary in Charleston, West Virginia and loving every second of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is true church. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me. And He loves me, so much that He sent His own son, Jesus Christ, here to earth to die for me so that I could have eternal life. I know that families can be together forever. I know that when i struggle i can pray to my Heavenly Father and He'll comfort me and answer my prayers if i have enough faith. I also know that if i do my part by living by His teachings, that the Holy Ghost will be my constant companion and help me stay on the right path. I'm a Mormon because this gospel has changed my life and brought me the most joy i have ever felt.

How I live my faith

By trying to set a Christlike example everywhere I go and living by His teachings

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Shipley Taylor
Our church is a public place where mormons or any visitors can meet together every Sunday to pray, study our scriptures, take the sacrament, and learn about our responsibilities as children of God. The temple is a very sacred place that you can only enter if you are worthy. It is literally a house of god so you must earn your right to enter. Show more Show less
