Hi I'm Trisha

I'm a recent college graduate. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in education and have just found a my first job. I grew up in a family of five children and I enjoy spending time with my parents and my siblings. I love reading and watching movies. I take pleasure in playing the flute and the piano when I have the time. I love listening to all kinds of music whether it be country, classical, show tunes, or jazz.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church and I learned about Christ and His teachings from my parents. I continue to be a member of the church because I have come to know that this church is Christ's church on the earth. This conviction came after years of wondering, pondering, praying and studying. As a I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon I see how both books teach the truth of God's plan for us and the reality of the Atonement of Christ. I have been filled by what I have learned from these books, and I have grown closer to Christ as I have learned more about His gospel. I know for myself that the church is the true restored church of God.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures and prayer everyday. I serve my family and others in the neighborhood. I try to remember what Christ taught and apply it in daily living. I try to remember the covenants I have made and keep the commandments of God.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We believe the Jesus Christ is literally the Son of God. We believe that He came to earth as our Savior to overcome sins and physical death. On Through Christ's Atonement and Resurrection, we can be cleansed from sin and overcome physical death. Christ is our Mediator, our Redeemer, and our greatest Friend. Show more Show less
