Hi I'm Annie.

I'm a singer. I'm a sister. I'm a baker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I just graduated high school and plan on attending Brigham Young University in the fall. Singing is one of my favorite activities; I have been taking voice lessons since I was in 8th grade and have performed in over a dozen musicals and plays both through my school and community. I love to dance and play my cello as well. Another hobby of mine is baking, especially with Nutella :) Spending time with my family is incredibly important to me. My parents and siblings are my best friends and never cease to bless and enrich my life. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that my current family and future family will be together forever. I live in a part of Indiana that is very racially and religiously diverse and consequently have friends who are Muslim, Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, and Methodist. I love to learn about other religions and enjoy having friends with such a wide variety of beliefs. We often have discussions about religion and have been able to learn from each other and have more respect for one another as well. Part of the reason why I am making this profile is so that people I know can have a better understanding of my beliefs and feel comfortable asking me any questions they may have.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father. My love for Him is what motivates me to go to church every Sunday, to read my scriptures everyday, to serve others, and to keep His commandments. The gospel makes me beyond happy. The principles found in the Bible and Book of Mormon help me to endure any trial that has come my way and overall be a better person. Being a Mormon gives me so much direction in my life, I know exactly what my purpose on earth is and what I need to do to achieve my full potential. The church has also helped me develop strong standards for myself that have blessed my life in countless ways. I have found through the years that while sometimes it may be hard to stand up for what I believe in and adhere to what I know is right, my morals and commitment to stay pure has given me more freedom and overall made my life infinitely happier. I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for the Atonement. It's amazing to me to know that Christ loved us all so much that he would suffer for our sins so that we can have the opportunity to return to him someday. I hope to do so :)

How I live my faith

One of the biggest ways I live my faith is through serving others. I love serving because it not only helps those whom I am serving, but it also blesses my life and makes me happier. I know that whenever I am going through a hard time, by serving others I can forget about my own hardships and focus on someone else.
