Hi I'm Cody David Alexander Smith

I'm from Bryan Texas, I'm a full time missonary and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a rather large family with all but 5 of the children in my family being girls, I enjoy horse back riding, trail riding on my mountain bike, kayaking local rivers and lakes, motorcycle riding, paintballing, fishing and playing sports with my friends and family members. I swam in high school as well as played a little water polo on the side. After high school, I got a job at a local cabinet shop building custom cabinets for new and existing houses, and I am now currently serving a full time mission for the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember the very first time I read the Book of Mormon and took Moroni's promise to heart, to ask God if the Book of Mormon was true, I recieved a very deep and clear awnser ringing in my interself telling me that it was true! This experince led me to a testimony that if the Book of Mormon was true, Jospeh Smith was called of God to be a prophet, and he did he restore the complete and full gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth once again and that Jesus Christ is the redeemer of all man kind and through the power of the atonement of Christ we can become clean and return to the presence of our heavenly Father. I know that my savior lives and if you don't I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and to gain that personal testimony of the Savior and then take Moroni's challenge (found in Moroni chapter 10 , verses 3-5) and to ask God if this is true.

How I live my faith

I've held multiple church callings through out my life all of which were oppurtunties to serve others, such callings I've held while being in my youth program and now I have the great blessing to serve the people of Colorado Springs in a way most people don't won't have the chance to do.
