Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Respiratory Therapist, a wife and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new convert with my husband Eddie to the LDS Church. We have been married since June 2003. I have been a Respiratory Therapist since 1999 doing just about everything from Adult ICU to NICU. I love to read scripture with my husband and spend time with my family. We have 2 yorkies named Daisy and Lily.

Why I am a Mormon

I was looking for something that was missing in my life and knew that I wanted to be closer to Heavenly Father, I just didn't know how. I tried to live a good life, pray and be a good person, but I still had an empty void. I researched churches around me and none seemed like a fit. I came across the LDS church and I had a feeling I wanted to know more. I started asking some family members who were LDS members about the church. They talked about it and urged us to visit the visitors center at the Temple near our home. We did, we were given the Book of Mormon and we read through it and prayed about it. A light went on inside me and a I felt the Holy Spirit testify in me that what I read was true. I felt Heavenly Father's love for me that I could not deny. I knew right then that this was the true Church for us. I know now that Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return to him one day. This is why the Restoration of the Church happened and though the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can.

How I live my faith

I attend Church every Sunday, make time to read my scriptures and do daily prayers. Through the Holy Spirit's guidance I honor the Commandments and spread the Gospel when I can to others.
