Hi I'm Corinne

I'm a newlywed, lover of languages, soccer, and all spicy foods. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently made some big changes in my life that included, graduating from college, getting a new job, moving across the country, and getting married to my best friend, Chris. It was daunting to make so many big changes all at once but as I prayed, I felt that I received answers and guidance from my loving Heavenly Father that helped me know that I was going in the right direction. Now, I couldn't be happier as my husband and I try and figure out life as married adults. It has been an interesting yet enjoyable pursuit of balance as we try to blend our lives together while still encouraging each other to grow individually in pursuit of our unique interests and talents. All I can say is that family truly is my greatest source of joy in this life. I grew up as the seventh of ten siblings and they were and still are my best friends. Now, I look forward to strengthening my new family and soon welcome children of our own into the world. The love that I feel for my husband and my family is a small taste of the love that I know that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ have for us. I am so thankful to know that thanks to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, we can truly be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and it has always been a huge part of my life. The gospel makes me happy and brings me hope. I know that this is His church because I have asked. I feel it as I read the scriptures, attend church, fulfill my callings, or listen to the counsel of His prophets. It is the best part of my life.

How I live my faith

I attend a singles ward with young adults between the ages of around 19 to 30. I love everything about it. We get together often for a variety of activities, from sports to date nights. I serve as a ward missionary and invite those who are in the ward boundaries to attend the singles ward. I know that sometimes it's hard to want to go to church if you don't know anybody there. I've moved half a dozen times and it's not always easy to jump right in. But I know that whatever ward you go to, there are friends to be made and people who will benefit greatly from getting to know you.
