Hi I'm Kylee

Until this year, I've never left the continental United States. I'm serving a mission in Lyon, France. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a fairly isolated Air Force base. My mission will be the first time I have ever left the United States. I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love the outdoors, reading, movies, and learning and trying new things. I am trying to teach myself how the play ukulele, piano, and accordion. I want to open my own flower shop someday and learn as much as I can about anythign and everything.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been a Mormon my whole life it hasn't been until the last few years that I have discovered for myself why I am and will continue to be a Mormon. I am not a Mormon because my family is, or because they expect me to be, or even because I have been my whole life. I am Mormon because I have chosen to be and because I know with all my heart this church is true. The church to me is everything good and true. I know being a member of this church is a blessing. I have seen first hand the blessings living the gospel can bring, even in the hardest of times. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it. I have felt the truth of it and seen the blessings following its teachings can bring us. I know that God knows me personally. He knows my pains, and trials, my weaknesses and my strengths. He knows everything about me. And especially he loves me completely. We are all children of God and he loves and knows all of us individually. I know that we can live with out families again and forever after death. Death is not the end. I know Christ suffered for all our pains, temptations, sorrows, everything. I know he died so that we all can return to live with God.

How I live my faith

I am 20 years old and am currently serving a mission for the church in southern France. I work on my family history. I help others. I volunteer at community events and school activities. I try to be a good example to my friends. I am always trying to become the woman God wants me to be.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Faith in Jesus Christ includes believing all his teachings. When we believe his teachings we try to be like him by being loving, kind, charitable, trying not to judge others, and trying to do as much good in the world as we can. When we try to do those things we greatly improve our realtionships because we are happier more understanding and better people. Show more Show less
