Hi I'm Kyle

I love family, friends, and basketball way too much. I'm currently serving a mission in Montréal, Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Arizona my whole life but I'm currently serving a French-speaking mission for the Lord in Montréal, Canada. Before I left, I spent most of my time attending school at a community college. When I come home, I plan on transfering to a university and persuing my educational goals and dreams. Other than my schooling, I loved to always be chillin with my friends. We'd usually be partying or doing some other crazy thing! I also love doing anything outdoors, particularly up in the White Mountains of Arizona! Fishing, camping, quading, and other things like that are fantastic ways to relax and escape from the busy world. In my free time, I love watching or playing any sport, especially basketball! I love running and cross country, but the NBA and an open court were two of my very best friends. GO SUNS! When it comes to family, I have four older brothers and an older sister and plenty of nieces and nephews running around to keep me busy! I love spending time and having fun with them! General get-togethers with my family are one of my favorite things that I always look forward to. I love life and I love making the most out of everything that I can! I believe that having fun and lots of laughter are extrememly important! I don't know what the Lord has in store for me, but I'm willing and excited to find out!

Why I am a Mormon

Most of the people that I've known and grown up with in my life have mostly been members of the Church. Only a handfull of my friends aren't LDS and my entire family is strong and faithful! I've been blessed to have never really had any truly difficult trials or issues in my life. I've never had that one incredible "Ah-hah!" experience that changed me forever. I've been blessed to have lived a fairly easy life so far. With the strength and the testimonies of the people around me though, I have been able to develop my own faith and my own testimony. I have come to know for myself that this church contains the true fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love reading my scriptures and feeling that Holy Spirit every time I do. There is not a doubt in my mind that this is the best thing in my life. I know that there is no better place for me to be right now than to be serving the Lord for two years. My faith and testimony has already been incredibly strengthened. I plan on making these next two years the best two years of my life, and I've never been more excited!

How I live my faith

Before my mission, I went to church every week where I enjoyed feeling the Spirit and teaching a class of 10 year old boys. It was kind of crazy sometimes, but I loved it so much! After about a year, I taught a lot of lessons, but I'm positive that I learned more from those boys than they ever learned from me! As a full time missionary, I've devoted the entire next two years of my life to serving the Lord and living my faith. I've been incredibly blessed my whole life to be surrounded by amazing people who are awesome examples for me! I hope that over the next two years, I can be just like them and be an example for all the people around me and for the people of Quebec, Canada. I hope that I can not only grow my own faith in Jesus Christ, but I hope that I can also help others come unto Him as well. I am not the strongest, smartest, or most spiritual person, but I know that through the Lord, weak things are made strong (Ether 12:27). All I can do now is trust in the Lord, and I know that He will be with me every step of the way.
