Hi I'm Zack

I grew up in Kaysville Utah, I've been married to my beautiful wife for five years, I am a new father and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Family is something that is extremely important to me. I come from a very close family and am now very fortunate to have begun my own family. I have been married for 5 years now and she is without a doubt the greatest joy in my life. We met while attending college where we were both Division I athletes. I have since graduated and am now pursing my graduate degree.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has always played a significant role in my life. I was born in the church and had phenomenal parents who raised and taught me of the importance of our Savior Jesus Christ. At the age of 19 I had the great honor to serve as a full-time missionary for the church and it was during this period of time that I truly began to see just how important this message was to me. My testimony continued to blossom upon returning home from my mission as little experiences continued to show me how much love my Father in Heaven had for me. I truly do have a testimony that this church is the church that Christ established while upon his mortal ministry. I know that a plan has been prepared for us so that we may one day return to live with our Father in Heaven along with our families again. How grateful I am for the faith that Joseph Smith had to kneel in prayer when he was in a time of need. i know that Joseph Smith was called of God and that the Book of Mormon is truly a witness of his divine calling. I am a Mormon, because I know that this is God's church. I have received countless witnesses through the power of the Holy Ghost that have confirmed and continue to confirm this truth to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I strive to do my best and improve on a daily basis. I am currently a graduate student and live my faith as I maintain the values that I have set for myself. I live my faith as my wife and I strive to look for opportunities to help those around us. Whether that be through lending a helping hand to our neighbors, or baking cookies for friends. In my ward I am called as a home teacher, which provides a great opportunity to get to know and help out other families in the ward. It also provides me with a great opportunity to prepare a message specific for each family that is concentrated on our Savior Jesus Christ. This calling has allowed for great friendships to form and testimonies to be strengthened.
