Hi I'm Kristi

I love my family and the gospel! I also enjoy photography, cooking, and exploring the world around me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. I'm the youngest in my family with a sister and two brothers. I went to college and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography. For three years I worked for an online jewelry company as a photographer. I enjoy being out in nature and exploring. Some fun outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, and camping. I also love trying out new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was baptized when I was eight years olds. I love the Savior and being a member of His church. I have learned so much over the years and have grown closer to our Savior Jesus Christ through attending church, praying, and reading the scriptures. The Bible and the Book of Mormon together testify of the Savior and His atonement and as I turn to the Savior in all things, I can find joy and happiness in this life. I know that as I apply the doctrine of Christ in my life which includes, faith, repentance, baptism (partaking of the sacrament after I'm baptized), receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end by continuing this pattern, I can return and live with my Father in Heaven again and that I can live with my family forever. I know this is possible through the Priesthood, which is the power and authority given to man to act in the name of God for the salvation of His children. I know that this Priesthood power was restored to the Prophet Joseph Smith and has been passed down to worthy men. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today and that he is called of God to lead and guide Christ's Church.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides many opportunities to serve and bless the lives of others. As a member of His Church I have had the opportunity to teach and visit with several women in our congregation. During these visits I look for ways to strengthen and uplift them, in addition to being aware of opportunites to serve. I have also had the chance to teach a gospel class on Sundays. I find great joy in living the gospel and sharing it with others. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Iowa Des Moines Mission.
