Hi I'm Erik

"I'll do anything to get my adrenaline raging. I sing as a passion. and I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

Hey my name is Erik. I grew up in a small town and did everything that comes with it. I have tried a little bit of everything. I have scaled the beautiful mountains of Oregon, I have camped the big green forests, and have fished the deep blue sea. I love to do just about everything possible outside. I am a High-School graduate where I tried a little of everything. If I am not on stage performing I am probably doing something to get my heart pumping. I love to perform on stage; acting, singing, Instrumentals you name it. However if you cant find me on stage I will probably be doing the insane. From Cliff jumping to Rock Climbing I love it all. Anything the get the adrenaline pulsing through my body puts a smile on this boys face.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it allows me to make mistakes and grow. I am not perfect and never will be in this Mortal life. But because of my Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement I am able to get back up when I fall. I have gone through my life always desiring truth. Feasting upon it when I could get it. My mom would always read from the Book of Mormon and tell me Truths that were held from within its pages. It was not until I truly realized that I needed a savior however, that I also started to thirst for the words that came from this Book. We all fall, We all eventually realize that something is missing. The Book of Mormon truly is the fountain that will quench your thirst. The Spirit of God truly will testify that it is the true word of God as is the Bible. All the Truth that was once lost has been restored and it can only be attained in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints.

How I live my faith

"Just seeing Christ doesn't change a person. The ultimate is not seeing Him, but having him see His countenance in you." I live my religion by fulfilling this quote. There are so many options in this life that we must choose. Some may not be as good as others but in the end we must make the decision. Jesus Christ allows me to change. To learn from my mistakes and to grow from them. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it allows me to continue growing and acting upon the choices that I have made in my life. Jesus Christ went and paved the way to salvation for all that would come and follow Him. He helped those that were in need. Lately I have been able to serve a mission in the beautiful State of North Carolina. I have been able to, like the savior; bring a light of hope to the down trodden. It is through service that we truly come to know and feel the love that our Savior has for all of us. It is through Service to our Brothers and Sisters that we truly come to be like our Savior Jesus Christ. I am not only Serving this mission for the church but I am serving for the Lord Jesus Christ. His life is an example that I intend to follow the rest of my life.
