Hi I'm Jen.

I'm a mother, a wife, and a student. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I relish my role as a homemaker and I feel blessed to be home with my children daily. I am a mother of five, and I have found that children are the source of my greatest joy and my most challenging moments. I know that I cannot do this sacred work of motherhood alone, and I rely much on my Heavenly Father to guide me and uplift me. Moments of true peace come when I am doing my best; He makes up for the rest. My marriage is powerful because of the partnership between my husband, God and me. I know that my needs are known to God and that He knows me personally. This knowledge provides me with the strength that I am not alone in my trials and it allows me to recognize all the tender mercies that He provides for me. When we live with discipline and keep commandments we are given, we are entitled to constant help from above.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the LDS church when I was a young girl, so all I remember is being part of this religion. I am thankful that they taught me correct principles and I know that learning from an early age helped my testimony to happen naturally. It was refreshing that everything I learned from church leaders was merely a reminder of what my parents had already taught me. I was truly born of goodly parents.

How I live my faith

In addition to serving my own family, I strive to help in my congregation however I am needed. Currently I am assigned to help teach the children of the ward. My favorite part of this job is seeing how glimmers of truth can blossom into beautiful young testimonies as we learn the simple truths contained in the scriptures. The hymns and music written for Primary children are powerful instruments in helping all of us understand the principles of the gospel.
