Hi I'm Brody Morris

I live in Utah. I'm going to be a missionary soon. I'm a normal person with normal experiences. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I love to draw, play the guitar. I'm serving a mission in Sacramento CA. I love comic books. I love reading Spiderman and Wolverine. I just saw the Amazing Spiderman opening night. It was the last movie that I wanted to see before I left to serve my Lord and Savior. It was awesome! I like all kinds of music like dubstep, rock, classical, 80's, and pop. Right now I am just about half way through my mission, and I love it. There are so many things that I have learned, I am no longer as shy as I was, I have a work ethic, and I have a lot more patience than I ever had before. My knowledge and testimony have increased ten fold, and so has my love for my family and for all those around me. I like so many others will say at the end of my mission that they were the best 2 yrs for me and my life.

Why I am a Mormon

In my family it's the wonderful women that hold up the spiritual lifestyle. Most of the men are not temple recommend holders, and a lot of them don't attend church as well. The home, and spiritual state of the home should be led by the man and the woman together. Never should the sisters in the church have to carry all the weight. My father and my uncle are the only ones that do it the way it's supposed to be done. My cousin and I are on our missions right now. He's serving in Africa. We want to carry the spiritual bar or be the examples for our family to follow. I've personally read and prayed with sincere intentions to know the truth. I testify to you It is the truth, God is real, He is our Loving Heavenly Father. He has given us Prophets with the proper authority to guide us in these latter days. He sent his son Jesus Christ to pay for our sins, and Jesus did this willingly because he loves us unconditionally. He wants us to speak to Him, He constantly has His hands in our lives. His church is the same as it was since the beginning of time. I know that there is no better way to recieve joy than through this Gospel. I've come to a knowledge of these things for myself, God's Holy Spirit has witnessed it to my soul. I will never accept anything less than God's answer. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live it everyday by studying and applying the things I learn from the gospel. As a missionary I teach Christ's Doctrine to our Heavenly Father's children who are looking for the truth but they know not where to find it. The Gospel is very simple, and when I say that I mean that God gives simply the things that we need to know like Faith, repentance, baptism, recieving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. A child can learn and understand these important truths. But it takes much courage to live these principles and let God take the wheel. Thats the way that I feel I need to live my faith, I need to let my God who knows all my trials, weaknesses, strengths, and talents lead my way. Instead of God being my co-pilot, and myself getting into a plane wreck, God can be my pilot and take me to new hights that I never knew were possible for me to reach.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Brody Morris
I'm a missionary right now in Sac CA. I teach the Gospel so that I may open up the doors of other peoples devine potential. We have a Father in Heaven who loves us and desires for us to learn of His truth. I am a decipel of Jesus Christ, I have been called by Him to declare His word amoung His people that they might have everlasting life. We frankly do this because we Love God first and foremost. And we do this because we love our fellow man, our brothers and sisters, we do the Fathers will. Show more Show less
