Hi I'm Georgina J. Campbell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Married, 2 children. I enjoy reading the scriptures. In my spare time I garden, love taking pictures. I consider myself to be creative. I don't attend college, but would like to finish my bachelor's degree. I work full-time at a local college. My family is very important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a mormon right after the Mexico City's earthquake in 1985. The missionaries visited my family before the eartquake and on April 23, 1986 I was baptized. The church and the members became my extended family, I loved what both had to offer me. My family and I moved to the US August 1986, so it's been 26 years of my conversion. I love the gospel, that's why I read as much as I can. I have been blessed with a righteous husband who is not a mormon. He is a christian who loves God and seeks to teach our children good values. You can't go wrong in having a mormon for a friend, mormon are happy people even in times of hardship, mormons are good people.

How I live my faith

When you give to others, somehow it comes back to you. So, I pray that God uses me as His instrument of service to others. This summer I voluntereed at a local Green House (because I love gardening) I have been asked to help clean the church building and my mother and I "visit teach" two sisters of our Spanish Branch. To visit teach is rewarding, you create friendships with the sisters of the branch and get to know them at a more personal level and most importantly, we deliver an insipired message. I live the gospel because it brings me happiness.

What is being a Mormon like?

Be mormon, be happy. It requires time and personal commitment because it makes you feel good, it makes you happy and you can't wait to share that same happiness with others. You have to experience it to believe it. Show more Show less
