Hi I'm Autumn

I live in Alaska. I'm a Wife, a Massage Therapist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love movies, video games, computers, fixing things, and learning new things. I'm married, no kids, working as a Massage Therapist..

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into this church but I had to make mistakes, learn, and grow like every other person on this earth. I continue to be a member of the LDS church through my adult hood because the gosple taught within this church is the truest on the earth today. I've prayed, studied other religions, and tested my faith. I love the LDS church and the loving community that can be found world wide.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through participating in regular community activities such as attending parades, comunity events, farmers markets, and through working as a Massage Therapist in my community. However, by beginning every morning, meal, and activity with prayer, I feel God's help, encouragement, and influance in everything I do.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Autumn
Something I personally have come to believe and understand is that we and God have more in common than one might think. A previous Prophet of the church, Lerenzo Snow declared, "As man is, God once was; as God is, man may become." This simple truth means more to me than almost any other because This statement reveals the nature of God, and by understanding this, we ourselves understand the purpose of life and the after life; To progress, learn, and become as God is today, because God once was a mortal man like us, and has provided a way, through the attonement of his son Jesus Christ, for us to become something more than mortal man. More information on this is covered by a discourse given by Joseph Smith titled, The King Follett Discourse, and can be found on a BYU website- http://mldb.byu.edu/follett.htm Show more Show less
