Hi I'm Chris McFarland

I'm a missionary currently serving in the New Zealand Auckland mission

About Me

I am currently a missionary in the New Zealand Auckland mission. (best mission ever) I grew up on a farm with 3 older brothers and two older sisters. I am the youngest of the family and my momma's golden child. My parents spoiled me with pretty much anything I wanted but none the less, I learned how to be a hard worker. My ability to cook and make food ranges from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to microwave burritos. I played ice hockey and lacrosse in high school. After high school I attended Utah State University for a year where I was studying finance. While I was attending uni I made the decision to hold off my education and career for two years to serve a mission. Best decision of my life so far.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be brought up in the gospel. I was baptized when I was 8 but I wasn't fully converted until I had read and prayed about the book of mormon when I was about 16. Each year after that has added greatly upon my testimony and I have read the book of mormon from cover to cover multiple times. I am a mormon because mormons are the fold of the church of jesus christ in these latter days. I am a mormon because I want to follow Jesus Christ and He is the chief cornerstone of our principles and beliefs.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by taking the happiness that the truth brings and to give it to others
