Hi I'm Jarrod Wilbur

I am from Southern California. I served a mission in the Quebec, Canada. I love In-N-Out. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Santa Ana, California and raised in Orange, California all my life. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I ran cross-country and played tennis in high school. I loved every science class offered at my school. I moved to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University to study Information Systems. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to serve the Lord and his people in Canada Montréal mission (the entire province of Québec) in the French language. I was given many opportunities to see people change their lives to follow the Savior, Jesus Christ. It was an experience I will never be able to forget.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life. However, I am a convert. My testimony of this gospel stems from my knowledge of the Book of Mormon. It has grown to be the foundation of my life. I have always loved it and ask my Heavenly Father to help me love it more and more. I know that it blesses lives. It answers the questions of the soul. It leads us to be better people. It leads us to be more like Christ. The Book of Mormon will always be the light and truth within my life. No force will take away my understanding and faith within its words. Through my knowledge of The Book of Mormon, I have found my knowledge of the truth of the restoration of Christ's true church and holy priesthood on the earth today. It has shown me the power of the atonement and the comfort it gives me. It has brought peace and hope in my life. I have a knowledge of where I came from, why I am here, why I and many others have hardships in their life, and where I am going after this life. The knowledge this has helped me grow by continually trying to be like Christ and become perfected in him. The total of this knowledge has built me up to who I am today. I am the servant of the Lord. I am sharing my knowledge and my comfort with those who are seeking the same comfort and peace in there life. I am doing this by sharing the message of the restored gospel to those in Canada Montreal. I know this message can bless the lives of all who listen, read, apply, and pray about the words held within the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I served a two year mission for my church. I was not paid for this. In fact, I paid to serve. I took time from my studies, from my job, from my friends, and most of all, from my family, to share what I know to be true. There is no other reason why I served. I want to spread the joy the Book of Mormon has brought in my life. I want everyone within the sound of my voice to understand the peace and purpose this book can bring to your life. I love this gospel. I know of its truth. I love my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I am honored to serve him.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Jarrod Wilbur
Missionaries will talk about one thing: how Christ's Church, restored in its fullness today, can bring eternal happiness and joy into the lives of all those who listen, ask, and act on the teachings. We want nothing more than to help you in any way we possibly can. It is a blessing to serve others. Service and charity bring joy into our lives. Our Father in Heaven loves us and has given our families a way to return to him. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Jarrod Wilbur
It's a simple answer. We live within the world, but not of the world. You could go through a whole day and meet many Mormons and not even know it. We are completely normal people. The major difference is our commitment in what we believe. Our lives revolve around our beliefs. We strive to live them and be an example of them from day to day. Even now, I am giving two years of my own life to share what I know to be true. I am not paid for it. It is a hard thing, but I know the blessings that come from this message and the pure love and joy that come from it. Show more Show less
