Hi I'm Dustin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from the University twice with Bachelor Degrees in Commerce and Recreation Management. I serve Canadian citizens in my employment. I enjoy taking family pictures and have been experimenting with social media to share the joy of daily living with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the opportunity to be brought up in a home were the teachings and example of Jesus Christ were taught and demonstrated by my parents. I have come to know the love of Jesus Christ through service to others, following the example my parents set for me. Through this service, I am constantly reminded of the simple things that make happy. Some of these things include: knowing that there is a God, who I refer to as Heavenly Father; Heavenly father had a spiritual family of which you and I are a part of; our elder brother Jesus Christ in his roles of creator, redeemer, and judge, helps you and I to be connected to our Heavenly Father, and to live with him forever; we have prophets from the past, and living prophets who teach and testify of the roles of Jesus Christ; these teaching and testimonies are accessible in the Old and New Testament, as well as modern day scripture called the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price; our modern day prophet's name is Thomas S. Monson; President Monson is part of line of Prophets who have held priesthood keys that were restored to earth via the Prophet Joseph Smith. The third member of the godhead called the Holy Ghost as let me know the truthfulness of these things that bring happiness to my life. The confirmation of these beliefs has happened many times in my life, when I have been quiet and thoughtful.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is an important daily experience for me. I have had many opportunities to teach about Jesus Christ, most frequently to youth aged members of this Church. Scouting, has been an important part of that service. I love seeing children grow up to youth and then adults. I experiment with faith everyday as a husband and father as I try teach about Jesus Christ and live the example he has set. Some days I feel more successful than others in my experiment with faith. But, I rely on the grace of Jesus Christ to help me be a better person than I was the day previously.
