Hi I'm Darren Cluff

Hi my name is Darren and being a Mormon is a great way to live!

About Me

I am a healthcare administrative professional and currently run a weight loss and general surgery practice. I love working with the morbidly obese patients and love to see how surgery transforms peoples lives. I have 3 boys and the most beautiful wife in the world. As a family we love skiing as my wife is a ski instructor. She teaches everyone from movie stars to kids. Me and my boys love sports. I was a jock in high school but have gravitated to golf, biking and skiing as I have gotten older.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but when I was 18 I decided to read the Book of Mormon as I knew I should serve a full time mission when I turned 19. I had to find out for myself if the church I grew up in was true. I read the Book of Mormon and the spirit of God bore witness to me that the Book of Mormon is true scripture. It testifies of God's dealing with the people, through prophets, on the American continent. Because I received this witness I became converted and know Jesus Christ is my Savior. I also know that God provides a living prophet today just as in all of history to provide instruction for our lives. The Book of Mormon is the key to all this hence the nickname Mormon for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you find out the Book of Mormon is true, that makes Joseph Smith a true modern day prophet which God himself appeared to and restored truths to the Earth. In summary the Book of Mormon is the key even if you have grown up in the church or not. Read it and if you get a witness of its truthfulness then all the rest falls into place.

How I live my faith

I strive to live the gospel of Jesus Christ daily knowing that He will make up for my shortcomings as long as I do my best to live the commandments. I am not perfect by any means and know that without Christ I will never live with God again. How grateful I am for his atoning sacrifice.
