Hi I'm Jared Norman

I'm a husband, an author, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I write fiction books, I love traveling with my wife, being outdoors is always a good idea.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a Mormon, but for a lot of my life I never took it seriously. I didn't care much about religion and didn't think I needed that in my life. But, as I went through high school I ended up making a lot of mistakes and realized that my life wasn't where I wanted it to be. I wasn't happy and lacked direction, so I started looking for what could make my life more complete. Somewhere in that search I rediscovered the Book of Mormon and started reading it. At last, in those pages I began to find the answers I was looking for. I began slowly to make changes in my life and began to find a purpose to what I was doing. Now I can say my life has a direction, a purpose. I know why I'm here and what I need to do.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the LDS church is great because it gives me a chance to help others and gives me the help I need when I need it. Not long after I "converted" (because although I was born a member I never really had a testimony in the Gospel until I went through the process of finding out for myself) I went to Mexico for two years to share what I had found in the Gospel with others. Now my wife and I teach younger children the Gospel in Sunday School. It's incredible to me how simple the Gospel is to understand, so much that even young children can easily understand the principles and apply them in their lives to become happier.
