Hi I'm Alexa Pace

I have a passion to cook. I love to make things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full time missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Because of the efforts the missionaries made in my life, I wanted to have the chance to do the same for others. The best part is going out and sharing my joy with others. I love the gospel and the happiness it has brought into my life. Before my mission, I was a full-time college student studying dietetics. I have a year left of college after my mission and I am so excited to be completed and move onto greater and grander things, for I know that is what the Lord has in store for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because of my family. When my parents were married, they were both previously members of the church, but had fallen away, due to circumstances in their lives. As they joined their families, they raised us in a home that was atheist. But as the years went on and the children grew older, there was a need in the family. I feel that my conversion to The Church becomes more personal to me, at this point, as our family progressed in the gospel. In my junior year in high school, I had lost all my friends, due to the typical high school drama, and had come to a point in my life where I felt as if I was a reject. It was a low point in my life and as my family started attending church, I found a comfort in the words that the missionaries shared with us. I came to feel a divine love, that I never before felt...and I knew that this (the gospel of Jesus Christ) was were I was going to find peace for my soul. As I listened to the words of the missionaries, I felt comfort for the void that was in my life. I knew from that point on that I was not a reject and I could move on with my life and find the joy that I had once had--I knew that there was a God and He loved me. I know that Heavenly Father is always there for us to guide and direct us in our darkest times, to help us find the true joy that He wants for all His children. I have never felt so much peace in my life, as I have as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because I know that Jesus Christ lives and was crucified for mine and your sins, to redeem us and prepare us to return to the presence of our loving Eternal Father.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in the best possible way...through my example to others. I feel that the way anyone can tell who you are and what you are about is through the way you act. I have had a good amount of callings since I have become a member...and each of them I have loved so much! They have each given me the opportunity to serve and love all of those around me. And I would do them all over again, to learn more for myself, because I know that we are given the opportunities, countless amounts of times, to teach others of our faith.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Alexa Pace
Mormon missionaries proselyte to those all over the world, because we feel that we have a special message to share with everyone. And that is the message of the restored gospel. There truly is great joy and happiness to be found in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. And to have this knowledge, gives each of us a responsibility to share it with others that they may have joy and happiness in their lives also. The missionaries are not out there to force the gospel on others, but to simply inform them of the possibility of having the same happiness that fills those sharing the message. Show more Show less
