Hi I'm Matt

I love chinese firedrills with a good joke and...I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Lets see. I graduated highschool class of 2011 in San antonio, Texas then right after that I moved to Iowa to prepare for a mission! I will be leaving Dec 19th to serve my mission in Lima, Peru! Though I'm terrible with names I'm pumped to meet new people and learn spanish! I did gymnastics for many years but decided i needed to focus more on music. I play Piano and Cello and love them both! Sacred music is a huge blessing that we've all been granted in this life. My parents raised me very strong in the church and I've always known that my heavenly father loves me and I love him. I'm so excited to work hard to fulfill my purpose in this life and to be able to tell others of my incredible blessings. My career plan is to become a dentist and someday own my own practice so hopefully after eight years of school I'll be able to get started! I love smiling and laughing with friends while being sarcastic myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the church because I know that I can recieve personal revelation for my questions. I know that my savior loved me so much that he sent his son to save me so i can live eternally in heaven. I love that we know of eternal families and the importance of loved ones. I'm so thankful for my brother Jospeh Smith that died so that we could enjoy the blessing of the gospel and progress in this life to become better in the next. Each of us have a very specific plan which only shows that heavenly father knows us personally and wants the best for all of us, even if we don't know the purpose. He does. I love the scriptures and the truth that comes from them and know that they are the truth and foundation of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my thoughts and actions. Having a good mindset is so important in this life and only does good to the soul. Showing people that I am different and proud to know the truth also allows me to share some key points about the gospel to others. I have two callings in my ward which i absolutely love! Being the ward missionary has taught me so much about service and how i can better myself as a future missionary. Im also thrilled to be the primary pianist and so blessed to be able listen to kids sing about the savior.
