Hi I'm Zach

Grew up in TN, kept all A's in school, did music and theater, goofed around, mostly the latter. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've been serving since September 2012. It's been an amazing experience seeing the gospel in action changing people's lives. Before the mission, I focused a lot on high school, lots of exciting honors and AP classes and such. Also did theater, listened to a lot of music, played a lot of video games (PC and 360). Attending BYU in Provo post-mission, studying chemical engineering. Looking forward to trying new things and loving life and stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and baptized at age 8. Obviously I didn't really understand the implications of the gospel at that age. Over the years, I've gained a greater appreciation for how the teachings of our Savior strengthen and uplift us. They provide a foundation for us throughout life, through any trial. As I've gone about teaching the gospel as a missionary, I've seen the miracles that transform people's lives. It's amazing to witness. There's no feeling equivalent to the loving guidance of the Spirit. Living the gospel just makes me happy. It'll make you happy, too. Everyone should be Mormon! I love Jesus Christ and want to serve Him. Plain and simple.

How I live my faith

Like said, I'm a missionary. My purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. It's a 2-year commitment, and it's 24/7. I do my best to keep the commandments and follow the rules of our mission. That's how I keep my faith.
