Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like making movies and reading science fiction books. I'm a beginning author working on several books in different genres. One day, I hope to attend a film school and pursue a career in the film industry. I've always loved camping, especially when I'd go camping with my dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. Though when I was young, I wasn't spiritually active in the church. At first, church seemed like another chore my parents would force me to participate in. In my youth I suffered some hardships that really challenged me. I didn't want anything to do with God. But then, when I had reached what I thought was the end, God provided a way for me to be happy again. I found a new purpose in life that gave me the drive to be better. Looking to come closer to God, I attended many churches with my friends. However, none of the other churches I attended had what I was looking for. They didn't feel right. That was the most important thing at the time, I wanted to feel that the church I was attending was true. Then, I chose to go willingly to my parent's church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Words cannot describe the immense joy the filled me up that day when I opened my heart to God. I knew that I was in the right place. Ever since that day, I've strived to be the best I can be. Through reading the scriptures and praying often, I came to know that this is the true church which would lead me back to my Heavenly Father and bring me eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and I went visiting teaching with my dad. Visiting teaching is when members go to teach and check up on other members. Doing that with my dad came as a blessing to both me and the members we visited as the Holy Ghost was always present and comforting. Now, I am currently serving a two year Mission in Des Moines, Iowa as a Spanish speaking Missionary.
