Hi I'm Sarah Razo

I'm your average friendly neighborhood weirdo :). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently discovered a passion of mine. Snorkeling. it is incredible to swim and enjoy the sea life and its incredible beauty. It is truly amazing to see the wonderful creatures heavenly father created. I also love to draw. I want to make cartoons for a living someday. I lived in Tijuana Baja California for 3 years and thanks to that I have really learned to appreciate the blessings and fortunes that we have as citizens of the U.S. My parents were both born in Mexico but from two completely different worlds. My mom from the beautiful city, and my dad from the amazing Ensenada.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents converted to the church in their young years. my mother's story is quite interesting in fact. She started going to church when she was merely eight years of age. she would walk to church and on Sundays sit by herself during sacrament meetings. this would make her very sad because she knew that the church was true and wanted her family to know it as well. she slowly started getting her parents and soon her siblings to start going to church as her prayers were slowly but surely being answered. My father started going to church in his teenage years when he realized the church was true. he must've been 18 years of age (my age) when he knew for himself the church was true. he and my mom met at a church activity. he being a young single adult and my mother being in young women still. they fell in love, married in the church and soon enough had four children. I grew up in the church and have always known it is the truth and Joseph smith was a real prophet sent by God to restore the church. Gaining a testimony was the hard part though. because you have to know clear as day that what you believe is true sure as the sky is blue. I always believed in the church but recently gained a testimony. one of the most memorable moments of my life.

How I live my faith

I have a couple of callings in my branch. I am a member of the Black Mountain Young Single Adult Branch. my callings are 1) Relief society instructor. which simply means I get to teach a lesson during the second hour of church every second Sunday of the month, but in reality I'M actually the one that is being taught the most just because there is so much that i have yet to know and what better way at learning than teaching it? my second calling is the co-chair of the friendship counsel. which means i am in charge of helping out with out Home Evening Groups every Monday, our Linger longer, and our break the fast every fast Sunday. it's quite fun and i love it a lot.
