Hi I'm Carly

I am a teacher. I am a wife. I love anything outdoors and crafts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach technology and engineering at a middle school in Utah. I love it. I live for the kids. They are so fun and smart. I love seeing their potential. I am married to the love of my life. We have been married for 2 years. We would both love to have kids one day. I love doing anything outdoors. My husband is a huge hunter. I shot my first turkey and deer last year. I love doing crafts and cooking. I love crocheting, sewing, photography and blogging.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it feels right. I am HAPPY living the gospel and I have a purpose in my life. I know that living the standards of the gospel makes my life easier and I have time to help others because of good choices I make. It is hard at times to live the gospel but I want to be with my family forever and see my Savior again. This helps me know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith at school. I know I am not allowed to talk about the gospel but I try to live it. I try to love everyone around me and be happy all the time. I think one day if the kids find out I am LDS they might open up to it if they loved their teacher. At church I teach the 7 year olds. I try to help them prepare for their baptism at age 8. They are at an age of exploration so they are very fun to teach. I live my faith by praying with my family. My husband and I always say as many prayers together as we can. It brings us together.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

The Holy Bible testifies of our Savior Jesus Christ and many of his followers. It has sacred writings containing revelation from God. The Old Testament occurs before Christ's birth. In the Old Testament many prophets told of the future Savior's coming and birth. The New Testament talks about time during Jesus Christ's life. It helps us understand how his church worked so we can have it today. Show more Show less
