Hi I'm Emily

I am 20 years old, a college student majoring in Special Education, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old and the oldest of four children. I have three younger siblings named Amber (19), Abigail (17), and Spencer (14). I love my family! I love to sing and be involved in a lot of service, and I love to keep myself busy! I am attending Brigham Young University - Idaho and I am majoring in Special Education because I have a very large spot in my heart for those children. I'm a very outgoing girl and I love making new friends. I love the Book Of Mormon, and I love reading the true words of our prophets. I found my testimony after many long years of struggling. It was always there, I just needed to look hard enough to find it. I love the church and I will always love it. I hope to teach many people of this great gospel in my life. I love missionary work and the love it brings to a home and to a persons life. If you want to know anything else, let me know!

Why I am a Mormon

Because the church brings so much happiness and peace and it doesn't have an expiration date! I often find myself in situations where I have to stand up for what I believe in, and I wouldn't change that in a second. It strengthens my testimony every day, and it makes it so much easier to live the gospel standards. So many people ask why I am so happy, or why I am always so willing to help others. I always only have one word, humility. There is so much pride on this earth that humility stands out! I live my life ready for the next trial to be thrown at me, and I'm ready to tackle it. Because I know that God gives His hardest trials to his strongest children. I live my life knowing that He loves me. I am a Mormon because I know it is the only true gospel on this earth and I know that through the life I live I will show people that this gospel is priceless.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to those around me, because actions speak louder than words. By living the gospel I show people that life doesn't have to be as hard as the world makes it. Service is a key roll for missionary work. I am always serving and baring my testimony through my actions to others around me. I have been fortunate enough to have many friends who are willing to hear me and listen to the words of the prophets with me. I am very compassionate and willing to go out of my way to help a friend in need, or the homeless man on the corner. Seeing that smile on their faces makes it all worth it. I live my faith by being the person God knows I can be. And I keep going without looking back.
