Hi I'm Alex Krohnfeldt

I grew up in California. I love playing sports, going to the beach and being adventurous. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Alex! I was born and raised in Southern California. I absolutely love playing sports and being outside! I also enjoy surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and laughing. I spend as much time as I can at the beach either playing volleyball or just hanging out. I love going on adventures and being spontaneous. I am in college and loving every second of it! I am also fortunate enough to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I love meeting new people and making people smile.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up outside of the church made me realize how important it is to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. I investigated the church for about 2 and a half years before deciding to get baptized. Before learning about the church, I remember driving by a temple and being in awe of how beautiful it was. I kept my eyes on it as long as I could until it was too far away to see. There was something about the temple that kept me intrigued. Then when I later started going to church with a friend I learned what a temple was and the meaning it holds here on Earth. From then on, I was hooked! Although I investigated for a while after learning about the temple, I remember always wanting to go to the temple grounds and just walk around. I always felt so much peace there. About a year and a half after I started investigating, I lost a close family member and that's when being with your family for all eternity really hit me. After going to the temple multiple times, reading the Book of Mormon, and praying, I received the answer that I need to get baptized. Right after that I called the missionaries and told them that I need to start taking the lessons again because I wanted to get baptized! Hands down, best decision of my life :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and institute class once a week. I also attend as many of the Family Home Evenings with the singles ward as I can! I was just recently called to be in the Relief Society and I am loving it! I have already learned so much more about the gospel and myself. I also live my faith by being a good example to my family and friends who mean the world to me.
