Hi I'm Dan

I live in California. I grew up in Arizona and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy photography, bicycling and camping. I recently graduated with a bachelors of science in business finance from the University of Phoenix.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I found out God loves me. This is a better way to live. I grew up in the church but when I was 16 I started working full-time and stopped going to church. I completely drifted away and lived without the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was 23 I was riding my motorcycle to work and was hit by a truck that ran a red light. I thought it was going to kill me. I was taken to the hosptial and released later that day with a broken collar bone and severe soft tissue damage across the entire left side of my body.

How I live my faith

I go to church and take my family. My family are the most important people. To me and I never want to loose them. This church shows me how we can be a family together forever.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are a sacred place where ordinances are performed such as sealing families for time and all eternity. This is especially important to my family because our first born daughter passed away 16 hours after she was born. I am so grateful for this eternal truth and the opportunity to go to the temple. Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No, the church does not support specific candidates. The church will only get involved when religious rights are under attack. Show more Show less
