Hi I'm Megan Thompson

I'm a backpacker, snowboarder and canyoneerer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. All of my time is spent rockclimbing, moutain biking, backpacking and canyoneering. I love to learn and I love to teach. I went to Utah State University to study nutrition and dietetics and then decided to take a break and go to China, the most beautiful place on earth to teach little kids English.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel with all my heart. I continue to follow in this gospel because I know it is true. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and he knows me personally. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ died so that I might live again with my Heavenly Father for eternity. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it was revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith. This gospel has given me everything and has made me the person I am today. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has given me direction in my life and without this gospel I wouldn't know where to turn.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel is a lifestyle. I believe in following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ every single day. I was blessed to have been able to teach a youth class and help them realize more fully their potential as children of God.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Megan Thompson
We believe that families are central to God's plan on this earth. Our Heavenly Father loves us very much and gave us families so we can learn and grow together. If we live worthily our families can be together forever through sacred ordinances in the temple. Show more Show less
