Hi I'm Cami

I'm a Mormon. I'm a single mother doing the best I can to raise my four children in the faith of Christ.

About Me

I am a divorced, single mother of four amazing kids. I am a full-time student enjoying my second time in school much more than the first :). I enjoy photography, reading, and creating art when I have a spare moment (which is rare!)

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church contains a fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had a testimony of the restoration of the gospel from the time I was a child. I know the Prophet Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that prophets and apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ are on the world today and that the heavens are not sealed. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated from an ancient record by Joseph Smith through the power of God. I know these things by the power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching the young people in my church the things Christ taught. I have also been involved in the scouting program and a similar program for young girls called the Activity Days. I love the young people. Their hope and faith in Christ is inspiring. I also teach my own children the gospel each day as we study the scriptures together before school. We pray together morning and night and have witnessed many answers to our prayers.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

The gospel was taken from the earth after the Apostles were killed, so in order for a fullness of the Gospel to be on the earth once again there needed to be a restoration. That restoration began with Joseph Smith's First Vision. Show more Show less
