Hi I'm Kristina Hendricks

I am a Mormon that LOVES to run! Marathons, half marathons, triathalons, anything!!

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am a loud and proud Aggie!! (Utah State University) My family is epic. I love my parents and the things they taught me. My dad is a home town country man that taught me how to work hard in the field and don't stop until the sun goes down. My mom is a wonderful lady that taught me that a kind word and gentle hand is what people remember.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being kind matters. Being someone's friends matters. Praying and reading the scriptures matters. So, to sum it all up, the gospel of Jesus Christ matters. This is the Church that teaches and testifies of the divinity of Jesus Christ. This is the place for you to find peace, friendship, and eternal joy and happiness with your family. I know this is true. I know that you can find out for yourself too, by reading the Book of Mormon and praying in sincerity to know if it is true.

How I live my faith

I love getting my hands dirty with work! Through my experiences at USU I was involved in the LDSSA (Latter-day Saint Student Association) from this opportunity, I learned that serving other people is the way to "let your light so shine". Faith is not a passive word, but action! So, in order for you to find what you believe, get busy and go to work! :)

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Kristina Hendricks
I am grateful to have other opportunities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that the priesthood is the power of God given to man, to act in His name. To me, that makes sense for a man to do what our God, who is also a man, does. The priesthood that men have, is the same power that Christ had when He was here. It was given to Peter, James, and John and restored (brought back) through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Show more Show less
