Hi I'm Carson

SPORTS! I love em, playing/watching. I snowboard. I'm a college student. I'm a lifeguard. I'm a missioanry. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am from Salt Lake Valley in Utah and have lived there most of my life. I love Utah because there is always something active to do all year long. I love every sport, especially basketball and football. I also enjoy hiking, fishing, golfing, ping pong, snowboarding, you name it, basically anything active and fun. I love my friends and always have a good time just being with them. I went to Snow College for one year and that is where I gained my testimony of the LDS church through great roommates and some personal spiritual experiences. I am now currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Anaheim, California! Best mission in the world! No really, it is. Its got Disneyland in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the feelings of happiness and joy that come from this gospel are like nothing else in this world! It brings me blessings and peace that make me feel like God loves me. In fact I KNOW that God loves me and knows me personally. Jesus Christ and his gospel has helped me so much in my own life and struggles that I don't know how I could have gotten through them without his help and love and support. That is why I'm out on a mission right now, to help others realize the benefits and joy they can achieve for themselves through being baptized and following Christ. This is the true restored Church on the earth today and I'm glad I can be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the mission lifestyle and following the rules. Its different when your serving a mission compared to being a member at home because you are involved in the gospel on a more personal and intense level everyday, all day, for 2 straight years. We wake up each day, study from the scriptures and other sources about Jesus Christ, and then we go out into the world and try to find people to teach and bring the blessings of gospel to. Its hard work because not very many people care for or want to listen to what we have to share, but once we find that one person who does, it makes it all worth it. I live my faith every day by putting my trust in the Lord that he will keep me safe and prepare people in our path.
