Hi I'm Raechel

I am a High School student. I am a musician. I am a teacher. I am a sister, daughter and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student. I love music. I play piano, guitar, and love to sing. I have been teaching piano lessons for about three years and love my job! I also love to cook and spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but I started to gain a testimony of my own when I was about 12 years old. This was the time I entered into the church's Young Women program. At this time in my life I learned more and more principles of the gospel and the Spirit gave me understanding and confirmation that these things are true and that I am part of the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I then began to live the principles of the gospel with faith and understanding of my purpose here on Earth. I know that living the gospel is my source of joy and is worth any sacrifice I may have to make.

How I live my faith

Living as a youth in these times is very difficult, but this gospel helps me have the faith and courage to stick to what I know to be true. I live the gospel by being an example. By keeping the commandments and standards. By following the prophet's counsel. By reading the scriptures and attending church meetings. No matter what is going on around me and the trials and temptations I may face, I know I can always turn to this gospel to give me peace and joy. It is always hard to do what is right, but I do my best and can rely on all the principles and things that I know to be true.
