Hi I'm Star Carter III

I love sports and being outdoors. I love my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports, especially basketball and football. I love spending time with family and friends. I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the state of North Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I have seen how the Lord has guided me to receive the restored Gospel, and to be a member of the only true and living church which he organized. Just as I have grown up believing in the Holy Bible(King James Version), I can continue to grow my faith through the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that prophets and apostles guide us here in these last days.

How I live my faith

l live my life through the Doctrine of Christ. I am a living example of the Savior Jesus Christ and strive to follow His teachings. I study and apply the teachings found in the Holy Bible and also the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. As I continue to apply the teachings and live the commandments of God that I can be blessed.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Star Carter III
We believe that there are prophets and apostles who continue to guide us in these the latter-days. In the New Testament the gospel was only preached to those of Jewish descent in the time of Jesus Christ and His apostles. However that doctrine was changed when it was revealed to Peter, the chief Apostle, in a dream that the gospel was to be taught to the Gentiles. Cornelius was the first Gentile to receive the Gospel by way of Peter, him being the chief Apostle and Prophet. The Lord's thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Although we may not understand why this circumstance occurred we sustain the prophet as a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator in these the last days. We learn from the Book of Mormon(2 Nephi 5:21) that "the Lord invites all people to come unto Him and he denieth none, whether they be black or white, bond or free, male or female". I know that HE denieth none in receiving the restored Gospel. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be the Lord's only kingdom established upon the earth. All you have to do is ask Him and "by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things". Show more Show less
