Hi I'm Kerry Tarvin

I'm a Mormon. I was baptized with my family back in 1973. It has been the best most important change to impact our lives.

About Me

I am a 51 year old doctor of Chiropractic. I was married in the Temple to a beautiful wife named Brooke. I have 4 girls and 3 boys. One of my daughters are going to BYU Idaho for nursing. We have been in Colorado Springs for about 3 years and love the beauty Heavenly Father created. I have been a chiropractor for 25 years. My wife and I plan to go on mission for the church to further serve the Lord. This is because we wish to share they joy the gospel has given us, the strength and understanding. I have been blessed to have many friends of other religions. I love and respect them and their beliefs. I am a grandfather of two from my oldest son.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 13 years old with my family of 5. I always felt the spirit every time the missionaries came to teach. As I read the scriptures and lessons I gained a testimony of the gospel. As I have tried to live the principles the understanding and testimony has increased. My capacity for love has increased.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith day by day. I try to treat each person as a child of God and my brother.

What is faith?

Kerry Tarvin
Joseph Smith taught that Faith must be based upon Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, His Son. We must base our faith on true and correct principles. We must understand our relationship with God. We must understand His characteristics. We must understand that faith is both power and an action step. We must have confidence that our actions please God. We must take upon ourselves the responsibility of learning the principles taught by Christ and implement these principles into our individual lives. My earthly father taught me to do a job in a manner I can be proud of. I think our Heavenly Father wants us to live our lives the same way. Show more Show less
