Hi I'm Nick

I play the trumpet and love to camp. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a boy scout for a long time and I've always loved doing anything outdoors. I love to go white water rafting or even just work in the yard. I'm studying IT in school and my other passion is technology. I love expanding my knowledge and trying new things that make life easier. I hope to improve the world through the integration of technology into learning environments.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up attending church every week since I was born. I have never felt the same influence of the spirit any time like I've felt it at church and in the temple. I am reminded constantly that the Lord is the head of this church and that he lives. He died for us and lives for us to return to him someday. I served a mission for the church in San Diego, California. I consider that time sacred and treasure the many friends I made while serving the Lord. I grew spiritually and matured to become a better person. I am currently going to BYU and hope to become a seminary teacher full time to spread this wonderful gospel.

How I live my faith

I always try to do the simple things like reading my scriptures and saying my prayers. I never pass on an opportunity to attend the temple and will always be willing to talk to anyone about the Savior's plan. I love the Savior and his plan.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Nick
Life is sacred as is the power to create it. The church does not believe that the power to create life should be abused in any way and that it is a sacred gift from our Heavenly Father. As such, we do not believe abortion to be the answer unless there are some extenuating circumstances such as rape or incest. These cases and any involving the risk of life for the mother should be brought to local priesthood authorities and handled with great care. The Savior has felt all of our pain and taken on all or our sins and through him we can be strengthened and lifted to get through any trial. Show more Show less
