Hi I'm Garrett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having grown up in Utah, I love the outdoors; backpacking, hiking, fishing, hunting, wakeboarding, snowboarding, shooting, jogging, etc. Most of these things have been placed low on the priority list over the past few years while obtaining both a Bachelors Degree (Spanish, Criminal Justice, Emergency Care & Rescue) and Masters Degree (Business Administration), making a few career changes, and becoming a father. My wife and two year old daughter are my life now and I cherish every moment that I am able to spend with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I find great joy, happiness, and blessings in learning, studying, teaching, living, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ I can be a better husband and father; I can be a better friend and neighbor; and I have the hope and assurance that the joy, happiness, and blessings will last for eternity.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I received a lot of help from those who served in the church as well as the community and hope I can give back what it has given me. I served a 2 year mission in Comayaguela, Honduras, serving and teaching the gospel in Spanish and loved every minute of it. After we were married, my wife and I taught many youth classes from ages 6-10 and enjoyed their energy and simple love for life. I have been able to serve as an instructor for adults and am now serving as a Secretary. My wife works with the young women, and serves as a Secretary as well.
