Hi I'm Susie

I love being outdoors, playing my ukulele, and dancing like no one is watching and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently a student studying Family and Consumer Sciences at BYU-Idaho and I'm loving every part of it. I love being outdoors doing all kinds of things. I especially like hiking, longboarding, and wakeboarding and will do them any chance I get. I've picked up playing the Ukelele I would play it all the time if I could. I also love to do anything with food whether it be making it or eating it. However baking is my real passion when it come to food. One of goal in life is to be fluent in at least 3 different languages but I want to learn as many as I can. I have 2 brothers and 2 sister and I absolutely love them to death. They are my best friends and there is never a dull moment when we are together. I am also currently serving in the China Hong Kong Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been apart of the church since the day I was born and my entire life I've been so blessed to meet some of the most amazing people I know because of this church. I believe that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us with the most infinite love that will never stop. I've felt this love throughout my life, in times of trials, hardships, sorrows, but also in times of happiness and joy. When I feel like my world is falling apart I alway have someone to turn to who never leaves my side. That companionship means the world to me, to know I'm never alone. Commonly when I'm asked "Why am I Mormon?" I alway have the same response, because it makes me happy. Living the standards of the church has brought happiness to my life. Because I chose by myself to live this way, many choices that I have to face become easier and I know my choices, when I choose righteously, will lead me to happiness. Many people lose sight of what true joy can be. However with Christ by our side the happiness and love that we feel is something that cannot be explained with words.

How I live my faith

Faith can be tricky but it all comes down to one thing, trust in the Lord. His plan and His timing are perfect. The Lord has given standards and commandments to live by and has been an example to us. I strive to live these standards and become like Christ. Teaching and baring my testimony are also ways that I live my faith. This gospel has taught me how to be happy and it has become one of the most precious things I have knowledge of. I want everyone to know about it so they can be happy too. When I teach others, my understanding become strengthened and they end up teaching me more than I teach them. The Lord loves all His children and I strive to be an example and disciple of His on earth everyday.
