Hi I'm Kevin Toney

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah. I know that the church is true and I am very excited to serve and bring people to the gospel.

About Me

I love to have lots of fun. I love to watch and play sports. I love to listen and play music on my saxophone, piano, and clarinet. I love to be with people. I am a very gregarious person. I just graduated from high school and I am going to serve a mission in two and a half weeks. I am very excited to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was already mormon and I have learned from them about the gospel and Jesus Christ, and I know that what they teach is true. I believe Joesph Smith truly saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that we have a living prophet today. I know Jesus Christ truly loves us and will do anything for us. Heavenly Father also loves us. I know that the Holy Ghost is there to help you and will be with you all of the time if you let him. The gospel is great and will bless anyone who will listen to it.

How I live my faith

I try to live it the best I can. I try to serve, study, and pray. Loving others is also a way I like to live my faith. I feel that I need to be patient and compassionate towards others and lead them by example.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Kevin Toney
No, it is not required to serve a mission. It is highly encouraged, but it all depends on our choice. I am serving a mission currently. I have been called to serve in the Singapore mission which is a long ways away, but I do feel ready and that I wanted to do this. A mission is all based on your desire and preparation. So, this is totally voluntary, but it is so great to see so many men and women my age and so many others that are retired serve because they want to. The church is true. Show more Show less
