Hi I'm Erin Chapple

I grew up on the water. I'm a student. I love traveling and being the favorite aunt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 21 year old dreamer hanging in our nation's capitol. Almost a year ago, I made the big move from west to east to pursue my life. I'm a big fan of hanging out with my family, finding ways to be creative, and seeing the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but as I grew up in the Church I realized that I stay because I'm not perfect. Gaining my own testimony is a process--I work daily to help it to grow, so that I can share it with other people and become the woman I strive to be. I am so grateful still, for the many examples I have in my life because their testimonies help mine to grow. I'm a Mormon because I have seen the Lord's hand in my life. I know that I am never alone, and that I can call on Him for comfort and guidance. I know that He wants me to be happy and that with Him, I will find out how to get there. I am grateful for the Atonement and I know that Christ suffered for the world, and He knows our struggles and triumphs. I know that He loves me.

How I live my faith

While in high school, I had the privilege to serve as Laurel President for all the girls in my ward aged 16-18. I learned so much during that time about service and truly loving those around you. This experience, especially, helped me gain a great love for missionary work. In my first college ward, I was assigned a job that helped me grow closer to our ancestors and appreciate all the people who helped build our country and our faith. I was also a visiting teacher, which is a calling I love. I was able to visit and serve women in my ward who I probably never would have interacted with much. I try my hardest to be Christ-like and faithful in my service.
