Hi I'm Ronnie Bradley

I grew up in North Carolina. I am in the Navy and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an officer in the United States Navy and work as a mental health provider. Most importantly I am a husband and father of two young boys. I like just about any sport and grew up playing baseball and soccer. We have been blessed with the work I do to have opportunities to travel and experience different cultures. Recently we returned back to the states after living in Japan for three years.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to the Mormon church and I remember the missionaries coming to our home and teaching. I wasn't very old but I can remember the special feelings that were in our home at that time. My parents never forced things on me and encouraged us to make our own decisions. When completing high school I knew that it was time for me to make some decisions and find out for myself. From that time on my life has changed and I have been blessed in more ways than I can count. Things have not been easy and being human there are struggles along the way but the peace, comfort, reassurance and guidance I gain from following the teachings of Jesus Christ always makes it worth it. I know with out a doubt that Jesus Christ is the son of our Heavenly Father and that they both love us more than we can comprehend. I am grateful for my wife and children. Most importantly for the blessings of the gospel that reassures me that we will be a family not just in this life but for eternity. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore Christ's church and bring forth the Book of Mormon. This book is another testament of Jesus Christ, and witnesses along with the Holy Bible, the saviors atonement and great love he has for all of God's children here on earth. I also know we have a Prophet today that leads and is the mouth piece for Christ. These simple truths have blessed my life beyond measure and I know can bless anyone's life that is searching. I encourage you to search, ponder and pray about the things you learn here and pay attention to the feelings of peace and joy because this is how you can come to know these truths yourself. It is from the Holy Spirit that you too can come to know of a surety our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ great love for you. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve a counselor in the Bishopric. This would be equivalent to what many call "Lay Leaders" in their church. Through this service I have the opportunity to meet and work alongside many wonder men and women in supporting those within our ward (area) boundaries. My wife is the Cub Scout Master and I also spend time assisting and helping her with this service when I can. We also spend time working with our missionaries sharing our testimonies about Jesus Christ. I enjoy studying and reading the scriptures ( The Bible, The Book of Mormon and other writings) that help me understand who I am, where I came from, why I am here and where I am going.
