Hi I'm Stephen Greer

I'm from O.C. I'm a convert of 2 years. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and I'm a mormon, a disciple of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I'm from Orange, California, I live to play sports and to be active. I was born into a less active family of the LDS religion, so I didn't know much about what we believed I would just claim to be Mormon when people asked what I believed. I knew so little about our faith that I didn't even know that "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" was the name of our church, I had just thought we called ourselves Mormon. I started to get interested in church when I was eighteen years old, and that is when I decided to get baptized. Since that day my life has gone completely different from what I thought it was going to be. I am now serving a mission in the Washington Spokane Mission. I had never ever thought that I would serve as a missionary, they were just these guys that came and went and that was all I had thought of them before. Missionaries help people come closer to Christ and are instruments in the Lord's hands to help people make changes in their lives so that they can be happier. I believe being baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the greatest decision I have made in my life, I have become a stronger person, I have been able to meet new and amazing people that have changed my life and have become true friends, and I have been able to come closer to God and Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the path to eternal life and eternal happiness. It is through Christ and His atonement that we are able to be redeemed of our sins and that we may learn and grow as individuals so that we too can be perfected. The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints enables anyone and everyone to hope, hope that tomorrow can be better and that God is a loving Heavenly Father and any trial or tribulation that we are going will only be for our benefit and will eventually pass. As I try my best to be a faithful servant of the Lord I see myself improving and the quality of my life (in all aspects family, friends, schooling, etc.) improve as well. I am a Mormon because Jesus wants me to be a Mormon and that is what will bring TRUE and LASTING joy to me and to anyone else.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" in the Washington Spokane Mission. I live my faith by following the commandments of God and by inviting others to live them as well. As a missionary I am called to serve in a specific area and I do my best to help bring others to the knowledge of the true church of Christ and that through Christ we can be perfected. I do everything I can to be a good example for those around so that when they do see me they see a disciple of Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Stephen Greer
The best way to find out if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true or not is to test it. Read the Book of Mormon, pray about it, go to church, and keep the commandments that we as a church members live by. See if those changes you make in your life are positively or negatively influencing your life. The best way to find out if anything is good or bad is to try it yourself. Don't take anyone else's word for it whether they say it is right or wrong. Get your answer through God and through doing it yourself; that is the key to finding the answers to all things in life and this is no different. Show more Show less
